Personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes to support you.
A fully qualified and insured BANT nutritional therapist based in Kent. My mission is to help you uncover the root causes of your health concerns and guide you towards optimal health and happiness.
I believe that true well-being encompasses more than just nutrition. It involves a holistic approach that addresses various aspects of your life, including sleep, exercise, and stress management. By investing in your health, you open doors to a more fulfilling and balanced life.
Having experienced my own health challenges, I understand the impact that nutrition can have on overall well-being. Growing up, I had little interest in or knowledge about nutrition, and my reliance on processed junk foods resulted in constant illness and hospitalisations. Later, my demanding job in London exacerbated my health issues due to poor nutrition and extreme stress.
However, becoming a mother sparked a transformation in my priorities. I realised the importance of health and nutrition for myself and my family. This led me to leave my career behind and dedicate four years to retraining as a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach. Now, I focus on promoting the well-being of my family and positively impacting the lives of others.
In addition to my private practice, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with the NHS on their Diabetes prevention and Remission Programmes in Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. Through these initiatives, I’ve helped hundreds of people reclaim their health by adopting healthier eating habits and making positive lifestyle changes. I am passionate about educating and empowering individuals, providing them with scientific evidence and knowledge to improve their overall health and wellness, and ultimately, their HbA1c levels.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health and nutrition. I am committed to working with you as an individual, understanding your unique circumstances and goals, and designing personalised programmes that suit your needs. Together, we will embark on a journey towards improved health, enabling you to live a full and happy life through sustainable changes.
I invite you to join me on this transformative path towards better health. Let’s unlock the power of nutrition and create a positive impact on your well-being.
Food provides us with the nutrients we need for energy, growth, and repair. But that is not its only purpose. Food contains a vast range of complex compounds necessary to support our immune systems, help detoxify harmful substances, and sustain our microbiome. In short, our eating habits determine our state of health.
Nutritional Therapy is a complementary medicine practice that uses natural food, supplements, specific diet plans and lifestyle advice to help address a range of health issues.
It is informed by evidence from the field of nutrion science. It is based on the philosophy of determining an illness's underlying cause rather than treang symptoms. If we can determine the root cause and the drivers contribung to a problem, we can understand why the body is imbalanced. By developing a personalised nutrion and lifestyle plan, we can work towards geng everything back in balance so your overall health, mood, immune system, and energy levels can all be boosted.
Our bodies have developed intricate mechanisms to ensure our well-being, and all we need to do to maintain our health is sleep, eat well, and move our bodies regularly. However, in today's modern world, we tend to work long hours, experience high levels of stress, get insufficient sleep, lack exercise, and have poor nutrition - all of which can contribute to inflammation and chronic disease.
Additionally, our environment plays a role as we are continually exposed to pollutants, chemicals, artificial light, and plastics, which add to the daily toxic load our bodies must process. The more we become detached from a natural way of living, our physical and mental health can be challenged.
Fortunately, we can make changes through diet and lifestyle modifications. By increasing the consumption of natural and nutrient-dense foods in our diet and by moving our bodies more, we can stimulate our innate healing mechanisms and work towards restoring our health.
